Lizbeth and Rosalyn attend a gathering of their vampire kin, but they only meet Sacarus, a member of the Council of Elders. The news he tells them is not good news: someone is hunting the members of their clan. Sacarus delivers Lizbeth a very special cube: the key to activate the 'Alte Spiegel', a mythical mirror that had disappeared centuries ago, called the Mirror of Power. To find it may be their last hope. The meeting is suddenly interrupted due to a surprise attack from the Ghouls. Rosalyn and Lizbeth succeed in escaping with help from Zack who, according to Master Lee, is always in the wrong place at the wrong time.
