Mozart and his friends rehearse the “Musical Joke”, a piece that the great composer wrote to ridicule all those mediocre composers who think themselves geniuses. The quiet life of the band changes when Gina has to look after her baby nephew who screams incessantly if not allowed to do as he want. Meanwhile, a gang of criminals use a mysterious lullaby, which sends everyone who hear it to sleep, to mounts a city-wide series of robberies. Luckily, Verdi’s suspicious are aroused when some of the gang visit his father’s restaurant. He follows them to their hideout to see what they are up to. As a result, Mozart and his friends are able to thwart the gang’s plans to plunder the whole city.
Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin and Verdi form a gang of contemporary boys who share both their pranks and their passion for music.
