The Art of Deception

When Sinus decides to commission the Greek artist Columno to sculpt life sized statues of all our gladiators, he is unaware that Cadius has hired the sinister sculptor to use his dark magic against our heroes. Columno molds replicas of Fracas, Hocus, Rumpus and Arena. But when Sinus unveils the stone statues, at the entrance of the coliseum, they glow ominously, grow three feet taller and attack their human counterparts with seemingly unbeatable strength. The statues humiliate our gladiator heroes at the arena, and then they take little Sinus hostage, smashing up Cornucopia in their wake. Our gladiators try to fight back, but each time they launch a rescue attempt, they are hounded and tormented by their stronger stone counterparts. But just when things are looking desperate, Audia and Rina come up with the solution: the best way to break a statue is to use a harder stone, like diamonds. That is precisely what ended with their missing features... The gladiators collect all jewelry and, aided by the two busts, build blowguns, bows and cannons with which they shoot diamonds until the statues crack and fall against each other.
